How to make it

  • Ok, this is what I did:
  • First I rolled the dough out to about a quarter inch thickness, then placed it onto a cookie sheet on parchment paper. I poked holes in it with a fork, and used my fingertips to make depressions in the dough.
  • Then I brushed it with olive oil, about 2 TBS, and added about a tsp. of kosher salt and some pepper, sprinkled over it.
  • Then I baked it in a 375 degree oven for about 5 minutes, or until the bread began to set up.
  • Then I brushed the surface again, spreading the olive oil that was already on there. Then I sprinkled the rosemary and garlic evenly over the surface, and about another 2 tsp of kosher salt and another few grinds of black pepper.
  • I upped my oven temp to 400, and baked it for approximately 12-15 more minutes, until it began to brown slightly around the edges. Then I broiled it to the desired shade of golden brown.
  • It's very good!

This sounds great! I love anything with rosemary! I have a recipe for rosemary raisin foccacia, where you make the dough in the bread machine...yours is easier! I love it!
