How to make it

  • Take a pan, put oil & ghee. Put cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, bay leaf, and star anise. Fry for 30 sec. Put onion. Fry it. Add Ginger garlic paste. Fry it. Add tomatoes. Fry it. Add the ground paste (coriander, Mint & green chilli). Fry it for 2 to 5 min (until you get the fine aroma). Add the chopped vegetables. Fry it 2 to 5 min. Sprinkle salt. Add Garam Masala & Coriander leaves. Mix well. Add Rice & Mix well. Stir for 2 min. Add water. Transfer the contents to a rice cooker and cook until done/ Transfer the contents to a large microwave safe bowl and cook for 25 min or until done/ Pressure cook for 2 whistles. Stir well before serving. Put Roasted cashews on top. Serve with Raita.
