Denny's Tater Tot Casserole Recipe

How to make it

  • Brown ground beef with diced onions and garlic, season with salt and pepper
  • When meat is browned, add italian seasoning, green pepper, veggies and worchestershire sauce
  • Cook until green pepper is softened and veggies are warm, about 7 minutes
  • In a prepared 13x9 baking dish, add enough tots to cover bottom in a single layer
  • Add meat mixture, sliced onions, then cover with prepared gravy
  • Bake at 350 for 30 minutes, or until bubbly
  • Remove from oven and cover with cheddar cheese
  • Return to oven for another 10 minutes, or until cheese has completely melted
  • Allow to rest for 5 minutes and serve
