Ingredients

How to make it

  • Combine all of these ingredients into a large cooking pot.
  • Bring to a boil and reduce heat and cook real slow for an hour.
  • Let cool and put into a large gallon jug or what ever it takes and
  • use as needed during the summer months for BBQing..

    this sounds good....i am going to put it together and give it a try...i love to try bbq sauces that are home made....i am a smoker and griller....

    WooHoo!! I just read this Zena & i've got one of those'excitement giggles' on me:-)) Thats a recipe & a half there!! You'll have to give me some measures here, how many cups does the cans measure out at & what size are the big tins of toms?:-)) Does this keep all summer in the fridge? Sorry for the 101 questions!

    Now that's a FULL recipe of bbq sauce! But it would be really nice to have your own bottled sauce to use all summer long...I will have to give this a try - sounds really good!

    Holy Cow! A whole small can of paprika and chili powder? It has some kick maybe? You know, the older recipes are so good. Many of us think that are tastes have become more complicated as time goes by, then we cook one of Mom's old recipes and we become shocked in a good way as we are transported into a feel good point in life. :D
