Red Pepper Pesto

A different take on pesto, using roasted red peppers, nutritional yeast and garlic scapes with the traditional basil. Something I'm both willing and ABLE to eat!
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup fresh basil (leaves, stem and flowers can be used) shopping list
- 3-4 strips jarred roasted red pepper (about 1/3 pepper) shopping list
- 3 garlic scapes, chopped shopping list
- 1/4 tsp crushed chili flakes shopping list
- 1 tsp nutritional yeast flakes shopping list
- 1/4 tsp dried oregano shopping list
- 1/2 tsp lemon juice shopping list
How to make it
- Place all ingredients into a small food processor.
- Process to desired consistency, adding water if required to reach smoothness.
