Green Bean Egg Bake Recipe

Ingredients

1 lb fresh green beans, cut into 1" pieces (can also use frozen)

2 Tbsp butter

3 Tbsp all-purpose fluor

1/2 cup milk

1 1/2 tsp honey

1 1/2 cups plain yogurt

1/2 tsp salt

4 hard-cooked eggs, coarsely chopped

2 cups grated Swiss cheese

1/4 cup bread crumbs

1 Tbsp melted butter

Directions

Blanche beans about 3 minutes in boiling, salted water; drain well.

Make a white sauce by melting the butter in a small saucepan. Add flour and stir-cook for 2 minutes. Whisk in milk and bring to a simmer over medium-high heat for a few minutes to thicken. Stir in honey, yogurt and salt and whisk to combine. Remove from heat.

Layer eans, eggs and cheese in a casserole dish and pour sauce over all. Combine bread crumbs with butter and sprinkle over top of dish.

Bake at 350F for about 20 minutes until bubbly.
