How to make it

  • Saute onions and mushrooms in butter till soft but not browned
  • Place in a medium casserole dish
  • Add remaining ingrdients
  • Stir to blend
  • Cover and bake 350F for 45mins or liquid has absorbed.
  • Fluff with a fork.
  • Reheats well

    Really love rice and think this is an nice new twist to it- never thought to use beer in making it! Wow, thanks for sharing.
    Found another forum with lots of new dishes- full of pictures from folks who post- if you might want to see some other rice recipes.
