Super Easy, Creamy Mac 'n' Cheese

- 3 cups uncooked elbow macaroni shopping list
- 1/4 cup butter shopping list
- 2 T flour shopping list
- 1 t mustard powder shopping list
- 1 t ground black pepper shopping list
- 2 cups milk shopping list
- 16 ounces Kraft's "Classic Melts" shredded cheese shopping list
- 1/4 cup seasoned dry bread crumbs shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees
- Butter a 2 1/2 quart casserole dish
- Cook macaroni until not quite done, about 6 minutes
- Drain
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat
- Blend in the flour, mustard powder, and pepper until smooth
- Slowly stir in the milk, blending out any lumps
- Add the cheese and stir constantly until the sauce is thick and smooth
- Stir the drained macaroni into the cheese sauce
- Put mixture into the prepared casserole dish
- Sprinkle with the bread crumbs
- Cover and bake for 20-25 minutes until thick and bubbly
