Fully Adjustable Sausage And Potatoes
From sweetwords 16 years agoIngredients
- 1-2 Tablespoons oil shopping list
- 3 cups red potatoes, cut to pieces less that 1" shopping list
- Dash powdered thyme shopping list
- Dash black pepper shopping list
- butter-flavor Pam (opt.) shopping list
- 1-1/2 to 2 lb. sausage such as Italian or Polish (we like Polish best) shopping list
- 1 cup chopped onion shopping list
- 1 cup diced green pepper shopping list
- parsley to taste (if fresh, don't use much) shopping list
- Dash salt (opt.) shopping list
How to make it
- Heat oil over medium-high heat in large skillet.
- Place potatoes in skillet; sprinkle thyme and black pepper over potatoes. Cook about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. May spray with a little butter Pam a couple times if using.
- Add sausage; cook 10 minutes.
- Stir in green pepper and cook 3 minutes.
- Add onions and just let them sit on top until you have to stir. Cook 5-8 minutes, depending on how soft you like them.
- When almost done, add parsley and stir.
- If you like less sausage, you may have to add salt instead.
- Do not overcook, as it becomes tasteless and greasy.
- Cook times are approximate, depending on the potatoes and sausage you use.
