How to make it

  • Drain the tomatoes on towel lined cookie sheet
  • Preheat oven to 375
  • Prebake crust for about 10 minutes, let cool slightly and lightly brush with olive oil
  • In alternating layers, fill pie shell with tomatoes, basil, green onions,bacon,. garlic powder, oregano, and red pepper
  • In a small bowl, mix cheese with mayonnaise
  • Spread over top of pie
  • Cover loosely with foil and bake for 30 minutes
  • Remove foil and bake about 30 more minutes
  • Serve warm or cold
