Iron Skillet Biscuits Recipe
These are very flaky, very butter and very easy to make. Enjoy

Ingredients
  • 2 cups self rising flour
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 3 tablespoons shortening
  • 1/2 cup melted butter

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 475.
  2. Cut shortening into flour then gradually add milk.
  3. Generously grease a small cast iron skillet.
  4. Drop large spoonfuls of batter into skillet then bake 5 minutes and remove from oven and pour melted butter over top.
  5. Return to oven and bake 15 minutes longer.
