Sausage Soup

- 1 lb. of italian sausage shopping list
- 2 chopped onions shopping list
- 1 c. of chopped celery shopping list
- 1 c. of chopped carrots shopping list
- 1 1/2 c.of shredded cabbage shopping list
- 1 (28 oz) can of whole peeled tomatoes with juice shopping list
- 6 c. of chicken broth shopping list
- 2 tsp.of dried basil shopping list
- 2 c. of bow tie pasta shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. of garlic salt shopping list
How to make it
- First you want to take a soup pot, and then cook sausage over medium flame until no pink remains.
- Next add onions, celery, and carrots.
- Let this cook uncovered approx. 5 minutes, or until onions are tender
- Then add tomatoes, chicken broth, cabbage, and basil.
- You want to let this come to a boil.
- Next you can stir in macaroni, and cover.
- Let this cook on low for approx. 10 minutes, or until pasta is tender.
- Finally you can season with garlic salt.
- Serve.

I used Mild Italian Sausage which i took out of the casings and made into balls. I don't have garlic salt so i minced one garlic clove. I browned the sausage first then drained the bit of fat that was left. I followed the ing. of the recipe but not s...more
