Ingredients
  • 1 lb. of Italian sausage
  • 2 chopped onions
  • 1 c. of chopped celery
  • 1 c. of chopped carrots
  • 1 1/2 c.of shredded cabbage
  • 1 (28 oz) can of whole peeled tomatoes with juice
  • 6 c. of chicken broth
  • 2 tsp.of dried basil
  • 2 c. of bow tie pasta
  • 1/2 tsp. of garlic salt

Directions
  1. First you want to take a soup pot, and then cook sausage over medium flame until no pink remains.
  2. Next add onions, celery, and carrots.
  3. Let this cook uncovered approx. 5 minutes, or until onions are tender
  4. Then add tomatoes, chicken broth, cabbage, and basil.
  5. You want to let this come to a boil.
  6. Next you can stir in macaroni, and cover.
  7. Let this cook on low for approx. 10 minutes, or until pasta is tender.
  8. Finally you can season with garlic salt.
  9. Serve.

I can tell by the ingredients that this soup is going to be the bomb. Based on the ingredients this recipe can be made any day of the week. Just add your own spin with additional herbs.
