This is a quck and easy cobbler and you can use any kind of fruit. It is my sister in law recipe and anyone can do it.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup of self rising flour
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1-1/4 cup of sugar or Splenda
  • 1-1/2 cups of cherry pie filing (I use the can sweetened with Splenda
  • 1 stick of melted butter

Directions
  1. Melt 1 stick on butter in your baking dish. I use the microwave oven to melt mine
  2. Mix the flour, milk, and sugar or Splenda well
  3. Pour ingredience into the baking dish on top of the melted butter
  4. add fruit on top
  5. Do not stir
  6. Put into a 350 degree preheated oven
  7. Bake for 45 minutes or until brown on top
  8. Serve with ice cream or cool whip

This is a great recipe, I've tried one similar that used some kind of topping like crushed graham crackers or something...


Foodies I left the melted butter out of the recipe. I revised it this morning. It is a good recipe altho I don't think its challenging enough for most of you guys. But for me justlearningtocook it is WONDERFUL. Thanks!!!
