Goat Cheese Popovers

- Ingredients: shopping list
- walnut,Olive or canola oil shopping list
- 6 eggs shopping list
- 1 1/2 c. all purpose flour shopping list
- 1 tsp salt shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper shopping list
- 1 tsp. thyme shopping list
- Pinch of nutmeg shopping list
- 2 c. milk shopping list
- 1/2 c. heavy cream shopping list
- 4 oz. herbed goat cheese, diced shopping list
How to make it
- Preparation:
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees
- Brush muffin tins with oil. Place the eggs, flour, salt, pepper, thyme and nutmeg in a blender, blend until well combined, scrape down sides. With machine running, slowly pour in the milk and cream. Blend until smooth. Place muffin tins in oven to warm. Remove tins and fill halfway with batter. Place a piece of the cheese in the center of each cup. Pour in the remaining batter to fill each cup 2/3. Bake the popovers until puffed and golden, 30-40 minutes.
