Ingredients

How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray a 13x9 dish with non-stick cooking spray.
  • FOR THE CHEESE SAUCE:
  • Melt 2 tablespoons butter in saucepan over medium heat.
  • Stir in flour and dry mustard.
  • Whisk in milk and 1/4 cup hot sauce; stir until thickened.
  • Stir in cheeses, and remove pot from heat when melted.
  • Whisk in sour cream and set aside.
  • FOR THE CHICKEN:
  • Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a medium skillet.
  • Add the onion and celery and cook until soft.
  • Stir in the garlic and chicken and cook a minute or two.
  • Add in remaining 1/2 cup of hot sauce, and stir until slightly thickened.
  • In the pot you boiled the pasta in, combine the pasta and chicken mixture; stir.
  • Add in cheese sauce and stir to combine well.
  • Pour into prepared baking dish,
  • Sprinkle with breadcrumbs and blue cheese, if using.
  • Bake for about 30 minutes, until browned and bubbly.
  • Allow to set 10 minutes before serving.
  • Enjoy!
