How to make it

  • Dough:Mix all ingredients in bowl,knead to a supple dough. Either roll out or pat in pan(I pat it in)
  • Filling:
  • Put the plums in a circle all over bottom of crust. Sprinkle with sugar,cinnamon and almonds.
  • Bake at 375 for 30 mins.

    This is the one Pat! I have never made it with fresh plums only canned. It is fabulous. Haven't made it years and it must come out.

    A few small differences in mine. I have a thicker edge on the crust. It is almost like a bowl. Another difference is I use the almonds with sugar and spice on top so that it covers most of the plums.

    Really the same thing just a different presentation.

    OMG! I just happen to have some plums from our neighbors. This looks soooo good! Last year I made your plum crumble with 'em - maybe I'll give this a try....
