How to make it

  • Combine egg, chai latte mix (vanilla extract if necessary) to a shallow bowl and whisk. See Photo
  • Melt butter in a skillet or on a griddle and heat (be careful not to burn the butter)
  • Dip each piece of bread into the chai mixture making sure to evenly coat both sides and place on griddle.
  • Repat for all remaining pieces of bread (some bread is more absorbent than others so you may not get through all 4 peices, or you may be able to make more)
  • Cook each side for 1- 2 minutes until golden brown
  • Remove from griddle. Sprinkle with cinnamon and serve with butter and maple syrup.
