Fettuccine Alfredo

- 12 oz fettuccine pasta shopping list
- 1 c evaporated skim milk shopping list
- 1/3 c half&half shopping list
- 1 ½ T butter, cut into small pieces shopping list
- 1 ½ c freshly grated parmesan cheese shopping list
- 2 T snipped fresh chives shopping list
- salt to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Cook pasta per package directions.
- In a medium saucepan, heat milk, half&half, and butter over medium heat just until butter is melted and mixture is hot. Gradually stir in 1 ½ cup Parmesan. Cook and stir until cheese has melted.
- Drain pasta and add to cheese mixture. Toss until well coated. Serve sprinkled with remaining Parmesan and chives.
