Russian Teacakes Mexican Wedding Cakes

Great X-Mas or coffe cookie! This are a big holiday tradition in my family.
Ingredients
- 1 C butter shopping list
- 1/2 C confectioners' sugar shopping list
- 1 tsp vanilla shopping list
- 2 1/4 C flour shopping list
- 1/4 tsp salt shopping list
- 3/4 cup nuts, finely ground shopping list
How to make it
- Mix butter, sugar, and vanilla, thoroughly. Stir in flour and salt. Blend well, and add nuts. Chill until easy to handle.
- Heat oven to 400 degrees. Roll dough into 1" balls. Place cookie balls on ungreased baking sheet. (Cookies do not spread.)
- Bake 10-12 minutes, or until set, NOT brown. While cookies are warm, roll in confectioners' sugar. Cool. Roll in sugar again.
