How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 475'. On a rimmed baking sheet,combine turnips,cayenne pepper, nutmeg and oil. Season with salt and pepper and toss well to combine.
  • Sprinkle with Parmesan and toss gently to combine.
  • Arrange turnips in a single layer and roast till golden on both sides,25 to 30 mins,flipping halfway through. Sprinkle with parsley

    I made these for dinner last night and they were perfect. I had no idea what a wonderful flavor and texture turnips have. They are a potato substitute but really they shine in their own right. Fabulous discovery for my low-carb diet. Thanks so much.
