Fried Rice With Tofu Recipe
Great dish for the middle of the week. Its easy and quick to prepare, but you still get a healthly and, filling meal.

Ingredients
  • 2 cups COOKED rice
  • 1 lrg. onion, sliced
  • 1 green pepper, sliced
  • 2 ribs celery, sliced
  • 1/2 lb. tofu, diced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 green onions, cut into 1/2 inch slices

Directions
  1. In skillet or wok heat some oil
  2. Add tofu cubes and soy sauce and stir-fry for 1 minute
  3. REMOVE tofu and to the same skillet add 2 tbsp. oil, onion, green pepper, and celery. Stir-fry this for 3-4 minutes.
  4. Slowly add the cooked rice
  5. Add soy sauce and tofu cubes.
  6. Stir-fry until hot. Serve topped with green onions.

Is this soy sauce to taste? do you marinate the tofu cubes in soy and then use the excess? thanks!


The soy sauce is just to add alittle taste, something salty, feel free to omit it if you like


Just getting into tofu. This sounds easy enough for me to try and sounds great.
