Chicken Wellington Casserole

Easy but elegant in flavor,I fix this dish often
Ingredients
- 4 boneles,skinless chicken breasts shopping list
- 4 Tbsp. butter shopping list
- 2(3 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese,softened shopping list
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms shopping list
- 2 Tbsp. chopped green onions shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
- 1 can refrigerated crescent rolls shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350ยบ.
- Season chicken with salt and pepper.
- Melt butter in a large skillet
- Cook chicken on each side for 3-4 minutes
- Place chicken in a greased 9x13 bakig dish
- Combine cream cheese,onions and mushrooms
- Spread evenly on top of chicken
- Unroll crescent rolls onto rectangles
- Pinch the seams/perforations together
- Place each rectangle over a chicken breast
- (opt) brush lightly with beaten egg
- Bake for 20 minutes
