How to make it

  • Spray or brush chicken with light coating of olive oil(I use a spray bottle)
  • Sprinkle with seasoning.
  • Bake at 375 for about 1 hour, turning once. Chicken should be done and skin crisping, but not over done.
  • Meanwhile, in large dutch oven or similar oven safe pan, I use cast iron, combine all remaining ingredients except sesame seeds, and cook over medium heat, stirring often, for about 5 minutes. Mixture should be heated through and slightly reduced. See Photo
  • When wings are done, increase oven temp to 400.
  • Add wings to pan and carefully stir to coat with sauce. See Photo
  • Return to oven and bake 15 minutes, then again, carefully stir and flip the wings, then bake another 10 minutes until sauce is thick and wings are done.
  • Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds before serving, if desired. (I desired, but, I was distracted and forgot...now, I need a recipe for something to do with 1/4 cup of toasted sesame seeds! ;)

These look awesome!!! Thai chili sauce has some real kick to it, but all the sweetness in this recipe must even it out.
