My husband and daughter just loved this! I added an onion and some mushrooms to it as well (mushrooms sound weird...and I know it is not the Polish way, but my Ukrainian husband loved it). I also thru in some caraway seeds. Good stuff!

I usually do this with kraut, but the cabbage has given me another option and a new twist. Sounds yummy!

I love this recipe and usually prepare it around Oktoberfest. Kielbasa works really well with this as well ;-) We love it with those big soft pretzels and lots of mustard.

Seeing as how I am part Polish, my Great-grandfather came right off the boat, I am a big fan of comfort foods like this. How quick and easy. Thanks.
