Apple & Raisin Turnovers

- 4 apples sliced, cored, peeled shopping list
- 2 tablespoons butter shopping list
- 1 cup of brown sugar shopping list
- 1 teaspon cinnamon shopping list
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch shopping list
- 1 (17.25 ounce) package frozen puff pastry sheets shopping list
- 1 cup confectioners sugar shopping list
- 1 tablespoon milk shopping list
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract shopping list
How to make it
- 1. Place the pastry out to defrost.
- 2. Place the butter, apples,brown sugar, cinnamon and cornstarch in a pan and cook until soft and put aside to cool.
- 3. Preheat the oven t 400 degrees f
- 4. Place the puff pastry sheets on a lightly floured surface and open then out and cut into 4 pieces and then place mixture in the middle of these squares and and then fold over corner to corner into a triangle shape and press the edges together to seal.
- 5. Place turnovers on a baking sheet, leaving about 1 inch between them.
- 6. Bake for 25 minutes in thed preheated oven until turnovers are puffed and lightly browned and cool before glazing.
- 7. To make the glaze mix together the confectioners sugar milk and vanilla in a bowl. and then drizzle over the cooled turnovers
