How to make it

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and then mix the crumbs, 3 tablespoons sugar and the butter and press firmly onto the bottom of pan and bake for 10 minutes
  • 2. Beat the cream cheese, 1 cup sugar the flour and the vanilla in a large bowl until well blended and add the eggs one at a time and make sure well blended then add the sour cream and the instant coffee granules into liqueur until dissolved and blend into the batter and pour over the crust.
  • 3. bake for 1 hour 5 minutes or until center is almost set and then remove from the oven and let it cool for awhile.
  • 4. Mix the 1 1/4 cups of sour cream,3 tablespoons sugar and the 2 teaspoons of coffee and then pour this over the cheesecake and return to the oven and bake for a further 10 minutes when done remove and then take a knife and run it around the crust sides to loosen cool completely.
  • 5. Melt the chocolate in the microwave and then drizzle over the cheesecake and then place in the fridge overnight .

    I may have mentioned, I only bake stuff like Mac n Cheese. My wife is the baker. I knew it. Showed this to the baker, and she said, "will get the bits and pieces tomorrow an cake on Sunday". She do like to bake. Thanks for the post.
