How to make it

  • In a blender, combine egg, mustard, vinegar and 2 thsps of the oil.
  • Blend for 30 seconds . With blender still running slowly drizzle the remaining oil into mixture until all oil is used and mixture is thick.
  • taste and adjust seasonings. Store in ajar in fridge.
  • NOTE:
  • Just to let you all know I used raw eggs in this recipe so please feel free to use pasteurized eggs if you have any health concerns or for elderly or pregnant mums.

    Have made this recipe twice, once with vinegar and once with lemon. Like them both, but really liked the flavor better when using the lemon. The first time I made this exactly like the recipe and liked it for the mild flavor. The second time decided to kick it up a bit with adding a bit of paprika which gave a more of a flavor of mayo that you buy in the store.
