This is an excellent cake than can go for any occasion.

Ingredients
  • 1/4 c. of canola oil
  • 1 tsp of almond extract
  • 3 whole egg whites
  • (18 1/4 oz) box of betty crocker super moist white cake mix
  • 1/4 c. of all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/3 c. of water

Directions
  1. First you will need to butter/flour 2 cake pans.
  2. Now take all the ingredients in a bowl and blend for approx. 2 min.
  3. Now pour into buttered pans.
  4. Let this bake at 250 degrees.
  5. It will be done when toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Let cool.

I needed to make a wedding cake for a friend. I used this recipe. First, I didn't know why I needed to bake it at 250 but I followed the directions. It baked evenly. I did buttercream between the layers and covered with a marshmallow fondant. The cake was heavy enough to hold the fondant. Everyone raved about the cake. It was moist and delicious.


I made cupcakes with this recipes and they were delicious!!!!
