- 12oz chunky all fruit chutney, jam or preserves(apricot, peach, strawberry, pineapple, mango, cherry, orange, or raspberry. shopping list
- 1/2 shot liquor(whiskey, brandy, rum, vodka, tequila) shopping list
- 1t fresh chives, chopped shopping list
- fresh ground black pepper and a lil kosher or sea salt shopping list
How to make it
- Heat all ingredients in small sauce pan just until warmed and mixed through. Do not boil, or even simmer. Just heat.
- Let cool to thicken back up.
- You can serve this slightly warm, room temp, or cold!

Inventive as always! Never thought of adding a little nip to preserves. I tried this with last year's homemade apricot jam this morning, served warm on still-hot biscuits - GREAT! Seems like it would be just the thing for a winter morning too.
