How to make it

  • Nelt butter in cooking pot,dredge chicken in flour and brow it with the chopped onions. Add chicken broth to cover. Simmer 30 mins.
  • Add carrots and potatoes and savory. Simmer some more until vegetables are cooked and chicken and vegetables are tender. Salt and pepper to taste.
  • This recipe easily accomodates the addition of dumplings.

    This does look pretty tasty alright Pat! And indeed, I've never heard of it before. Could be because there is no French nor Acadian in my background! Looks like they know how to cook though! Have an excellent day!
