Ingredients

5lb green tomatoes

6 large white onions

3lb granny smith apples

4 oz salt

2 pints vinegar

1/2 oz pepper

1/2 oz cloves in muslem

1 lb brown sugar

Directions

cut up tomatoes and apples place in a large pot and add the remainder of ingredients...boil together for 3 hours or until reduced slightly....bottle when cool

This is something my gran made every year and I just translated it from her german handwriting there's only one difference she added mustard powder .....strange how things are so similar
