How to make it

  • In skillet with 1/2 cup water add sausage and simmer on both sides until no longer pink.
  • In another skillet add oil and heat to medium
  • Add peppers and onions and saute until tender crisp
  • Set aside
  • Add oil to sausage skillet
  • Place sausage in skillet and brown on all sides
  • Slice sausage lengthwise
  • If desired, spread mustard over tortilla shells or marinara sauce. ( I like mine with mustard and my husband loved it with marinara)
  • Add 2 cheese slices to each tortilla
  • Divide sausage and top cheese
  • Top sausage with peppers and onion
  • Roll up like a burrito

    Just call it dinner tonight. I have two Italian Sausage links in the refrigerator looking for a job. I had already told Mr. SuchAFuss that we would be having "Express Your Inner Sausage Night" and this will be mine. Of course being a man he probably went straight to the gutter with that invitation for dinner. /wink
