Ingredients

How to make it

  • Drain clams and reserve juice
  • Saute onion in olive oil on medium heat
  • Add minced garlic and stir
  • Add clam juice.
  • Simmer for 5 minutes
  • Add clams and parsley
  • Turn off heat
  • Add butter.
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Serve over cooked pasta(your choice).

    99bordeaux ate it and said...
    This is super fast, super simple and amazingly delicious!!! I doubled it and my husband & I ate the entire amount -well for dinner & lunch the next day. I also added a couple dashes of hot pepper sauce and we really enjoyed the flavor it added. Since making this recipe every time I ask my husband what he feels like for dinner he always says "white clam sauce over linguine" When I made it the 1st time I only jotted it down on scrap paper and then stupid me threw the paper away while scurrying to clean up my kitchen. I tried to make it from memory, but it wasn't nearly as good so I came back to the site, but discovered I hadn't saved this recipe to favorites and only happened upon it while looking at clam dip recipes. I did a clam dip search again and finally came upon your very special recipe -the one we both loved. When I told my husband I had found it he of course said "are we having it for dinner, because that would be fine with me." We'd just eaten my 'trying from memory' batch the night before. I now have a copy of this recipe hanging on my fridge for a quick dinner option. Thank you so very much for posting!!!!
