How to make it

  • Brush melted butter over one cut side of each slice of bread(12-18 pieces, depending on the size).
  • Rub cut side of garlic over the buttered bits of bread.
  • Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  • Bake at 400 for about 5 minutes, just until edges are beginning to turn golden.
  • Add slices of cheese, spinach leaves, tomato and onion slices and prosciutto and return to oven.
  • Bake another 5 minutes or so until cheese is melted and toast edges are crunchy.
  • Drizzle with dressing just before serving, if desired.

Another delicious sandwich from Keni! :) Prosciutto is one of the rare treats we have around here, so this was very appreciated. A very melty and comforting lunch! Added a post in the IMI --------> Italian Salad Sandwich
