How to make it

  • In dutch oven, cook bacon until crisp. Drain and crumble(save grease for next step).
  • In bacon drippings, cook onion and carrot until tender.
  • Stir in flour. Gradually add milk and water.
  • Bring to a boil. Cook and stir for 2 min or until thick.
  • Add potatoes, corn, boullion and pepper.
  • Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered for 20 min or until potatoes are tender.
  • Add cheese and ham. Heat through until cheese is melted.
  • Stir in bacon.
