Memphis Bbq Rubbed Chicken

I love finding new rubs....I used this on chicken and did it using the Beer Butt method. It can be done either on the grill or in the oven.
Ingredients
- 1 3-4 lb. chicken shopping list
- Rub shopping list
- 1/4 cup paprika shopping list
- 1 tbls. brown sugar shopping list
- 1 tbls. white sugar shopping list
- 1 tbls. kosher salt shopping list
- 1 1/2 tsp. black pepper shopping list
- 1 tsp. cayenne pepper shopping list
- 1 tsp. dry mustard shopping list
- 1 tsp. garlic powder shopping list
- 1 tsp. onion powder shopping list
How to make it
- Add all dry rub ingredients to bowl and combine
- Go to My Beer Butt Chicken With Essentialingredients Carolina Rub and follow all instructions but use this dry rub instead. You can certainly roast chicken parts using this rub.

I used this on a couple of game hens that I cooked in my rotisserie. Used half paprika and half smoked paprika. This had just the right amount of heat for me. Added a picture of the hens, too and put a thread in IMI. 2/2/13
