Almond Joy Cake

YUMMY! A great cake that is fantastic fresh or you can freeze to have on hand when company stops by. This is very good right out of the freezer and it doesn't freeze solid!
Ingredients
- 1 chocolate pudding cake mix shopping list
- Filling: shopping list
- 1 cup evaporate milk shopping list
- 3/4 cup sugar shopping list
- 24 large marshmallows shopping list
- 1-14 oz. pkg coconut flakes shopping list
- Frosting: shopping list
- 1 cup sugar shopping list
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk shopping list
- 1 stick margarine shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips shopping list
- 1 cup almonds shopping list
How to make it
- Mix cake mix according to pkg. directions.
- Put in large cookie sheet pan.
- Bake 20-25 minutes at 350 degrees.
- While cake is baking prepare filling.
- Heat milk, sugar and marshmallows until melted.
- Add coconut.
- Stir.
- While cake is hot- pour filling on top.
- Frosting:
- Heat milk, sugar and margarine untill begins to boil.
- Remove from heat and add nuts.
- Cool a few minutes.
- Pour over cake.
- If you don't want to add the almonds to the frosting you can toast them and sprinkle on top.
