Ingredients

How to make it

  • Combine all sauce ingredients. Cook until thick. Cool completely. Pour over cooked, diced potatoes. Add chopped hard-boiled eggs, onions, olives and relish. Stir in 1 C. of Mayonnaise or salad dressing. Chill and serve.
  • Note: I sometimes add a little regular mustard to give it a little more tart flavor, as the recipe can sometimes taste a little too sweet. The mustard really makes a difference. I also sprinkle a little Salad Supreme on top, which gives it a little kick.

Salad supreme is found in your spice aisle. (I get mine at Walmart, so I know they sell it there) It is made by McCormick. Has a green lable and red lid.
If you can't find it, it is a combination of:
grated romano cheese, salt, sesame seed, poppy seed, paprika, celery seed, garlic, black pepper and red pepper.
It really isn't neccesary for the recipe, I just like the flavor of it, so I usually sprinkle some on. If you can't find it, just add seasonings that you do like to get the desired taste!
