How to make it

  • Cook the cabbage and potatoes cut into chunks in a large pan of salted water for 10'.
  • Meanwhile in a pan, fry the garlic with the yeast flakes.
  • Drain pizzoccheri, cabbage and potatoes and pour into the pan with oil and cook more 5 'minutes over low heat.

    Got to second Joyce on the portions. Not sure about t he sage and would skip the hot pepper sauce. RJ

    ~ Welcome ~
    I have a question,please.
    I realize that here in American we tend to consume more portion per person then is healthy,but,in converting your recipe,the amount of Pizzoccheri,Cabbage,and Potatoe seemed a tad skimpy on the servings for two...I may be incorrect on my calculations.I would also add,that perhaps if I were to prepare said dish that I would add a pinch of sage,and a splash of hot pepper sauce.
