Indonesian Spicy Coconut Soup Aka Sayur Lodeh

- 1 cup green bean sliced thinly diagonally shopping list
- 1 cup green papaya sliced jullianne ( or zuccini or yellow squash or even potatoes) shopping list
- 1 cup carrot sliced jullianne shopping list
- 1/4 cup tempeh cubed shopping list
- 1 cup raw shrimp clean and define shopping list
- 1 can coconut milk shopping list
- 1 cup of sweet corn shopping list
- spiced Ingredient : shopping list
- 1 pack basic red chilli paste for Indonesian cooking shopping list
- 1 lemon grass (bruised) shopping list
- 5 bayleaf (or indian bayleaf better aka daun salam) shopping list
- 2 tomato shopping list
- 2 tbs galanggal powder ( it is important but if you can't find it , no problem) shopping list
- 2 tbs dried shrimp powder ( look in the mexican supermarket) shopping list
- 2-3 cup water shopping list
- salt, sugar chicken boulian to taste shopping list
- 2 tbs oil to saute shopping list
- 4 boiled potatoes shopping list
- 1 cup of slice omelet (egg+salt+pepper) shopping list
How to make it
- Masukan minyak kedalam panci masukan bumbu dasar merah, tumis hingga harum. masukan udang,tomat yang di iris, daun salam, serai,ebi, lengkuas bubuk. Lalu masukan sayur sayuran beserta tempe, tumis hingga layu. masukan santan air lalu bumbuin dengan garam, micin, gula. masak hingga mendidih lalu kecilkan api , masak hingga matang .
- heat the pot , add some oil
- add the basic red chilli paste for Indonesian cooking saute until brownish and smell wonderfull
- add shrimp, tomatoes, lemon grass, bayleaf, dried shrimp, galanggal powder.
- add the vegetables and tempeh
- stir for a minute
- add coconut milk and water
- season to taste and also the boulian
- reduce the heat and shimmer for 10 min
- serve with boiled potatoes
- and sliced omelet (optional)
