How to make it

  • Mix cake mix and sugar, then add apricot nectar and oil.
  • Beat well.
  • Add one egg at a time and mix well.
  • Bake in prepared bundt pan 1 hour at 350 degrees.
  • Let cool 10 mins, transfer to a plate.
  • Mix icing and spoon over cake while warm.

    I make a lemon poppy seed cake that is close to this. Never heard of apricot nectar, I'll have to look for it--is it in the beverage section of the grocery?
