Ingredients

How to make it

  • Get your grill ready. I use charcoal, so I added the 15 minutes it takes to get it ready to the prep time. If you have a gas grill, turn it on high and you're ready to go
  • Salt and pepper the crabs on both sides
  • Butter the rolls, and dust them with Old Bay See Photo
  • Place the crabs on the grill shell side down and cook for about 4 minutes or until they're red and charred a little See Photo
  • Turn them and cook for about 2 - 3 minutes and remove from the heat
  • Grill the buns, but keep your tongs on them because the butter is gonna flare up. You want that, for the added flavor, but if you don't pay attention you'll have some burnt buns! No one likes burnt buns..
  • I digress...
  • Making the Tartar Sauce

  • Mix all of the ingredients in a bowl and allow to chill while the crabs are cooking See Photo
  • Put about 2 T on the buns, top the crab with some fresh lettuce and enjoy!
