Hamburger/Hot Dog Buns Recipe

How to make it

  • Place all ingrdients in the bread pan per manufacturs instructions
  • For Hamburger Buns:
  • Choose dough setting and press start.
  • When bread machine beeps signaling the end of the dough setting, remove dough from pan and place on a floured surface. Divide dough into 8 equal portions and roll into balls.
  • Transfer dough balls to a 9x13 greased baking sheet.
  • Baste dough with butter and let rise until doubled in size.
  • Bake for 10-12 min at 400 degrees. Keep your eye on them, some times they can cook really fast.
  • For Hot Dog Buns:
  • Choose dough setting and press start.
  • When bread machine beeps signaling the end of the dough setting, remove dough from pan and place on a floured surface. Divide dough into 12 equal portions and roll into 10 - 12 inch ropes. Fold ropes in half so you have a bun shape that would fit a hot dog.
  • Transfer buns to a 9x13 greased baking sheet.
  • Bast dough with butter and let rise until doubled in size.
  • Bake for 10-12 min at 400 degrees. Keep your eye on them, some times they can cook really fast.
