Corn Meal Shake And Bake Mix

Shake and Bake no mistake mix. Have this on hand to coat chicken, pork chops or fish.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup dry bread crumbs shopping list
- 1/2 cup cornmeal shopping list
- 1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese shopping list
- 1/4 cup minced fresh parsley or 4 teaspoons dried parsley flakes shopping list
- 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Combine all the ingredients. Place in a sealed container.
- To use, place enough to coat the meat in a large resealable bag. Coat the meat with buttermilk poured in a shallow bowl. Add the meat to bag, a few pieces at a time, and shake to coat. Bake meat as recommended.
