How to make it

  • Preheat the oven to 175C [347F]
  • Whish butter and sugar well until fluffy.
  • Add eggs and mix well.
  • Pour in the milk and apples.
  • In another bowl - mix flour, baking powder, cinnamon, ginger and vanilla sugar.
  • Mix everything together.
  • Pour into lined baking tray [24cm - 9.4in].
  • Bake for 1 hour. Let it cool.
  • Glaze

  • Mix butter with coffee ans caster sugar. It has to be a soft, smooth icing. Apply it on the op of cooled cake.

    only made the icing and put it on a bakery bought pound cake ...the icing was delicious...i added couple tablespoons of kahluha to the recipe
