How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 400.
  • Beat egg.
  • Stir in milk, Bacon drippings, and cheese. Set aside.
  • Sift together: flour, salt, sugar, baking powder.
  • Stir into egg mixture.
  • Crumble up bacon and add to the mix.
  • Spoon into greased muffin tins.
  • Bake 18 to 20 minutes.

    Great Muffins Batman!

    These are what I aspire my biscuits to. Soft firm shell. Breadlike crumb in the center. It's not flaky or crumbly.

    Probably am going to do some merging to produce a great biscuit.

    I cut the bacon grease into the flour mix like I would for biscuits, after the bacon grease spent some hard time in the freezer.

    Do these save well? I think these would be nice for an on the go breakfast! nuke them and run off to work!
