This is a homemade Kahlua from my daughter in laws family from Canada

Ingredients
- 3 cups white sugar
- 6 cups water
- 6 tablespoons instant coffee
- 3 cups brown sugar
- 26 oz vodka
- 2 to 3 tablespoons vanilla
Directions
- Combine sugar and water; bring to a boil for one hour, stirring constantly.
- In a second pot combine vodka, instant coffee and vanilla; boil.
- Mix the two pots together.

I've made my own Kahlua before (but not in many years now) and I remember it was WAY better than the liqour store stuff. Anyone who likes Kahlua really should try this - I'll have to post all the ways I like to use it!!! Keep 'em coming, Zena!
