Slow Cooker Taco Filling

- 3lbs ground lean meat(chicken, turkey, beef, venison, etc) shopping list
- 1/4 cup taco seasoning mix(I mix up my own using this as the basespice-mix.html">Latin Inspired Spice Mix , and it's easy and I highly recommend it) shopping list
- 1 heaping T cornstarch(omit if using envelopes of taco seasoning) shopping list
- 2 cups cooked black beans(or 2 cans, drained) shopping list
- 1 large can black olives, drained and sliced shopping list
- about 1/4 cup sliced green olives shopping list
- 2 red peppers(roasted is even better;), diced shopping list
- 1 onion, diced shopping list
- 1-4 jalapenos, diced shopping list
- juice from 1 lemon or 2 limes shopping list
How to make it
- Combine all ingredients in slow cooker.
- Heat on low for about 4 hours, stirring often.
- Remove lid once meat is done and turn to high for a lil bit if it's too liquidy. :)
- Serve with tortilla chips, hard or soft shell taco shells, with shredded cheese, fresh cilantro or sour cream.
