How to make it
- Combine cumin, peppercorn and coriander in heavy medium skillet. Stir over medium heat until fragrant and toasted, about 8 minutes. Cool slightly. Finely grind toasted spices in the blender, add salt, sugar and garlic powder. Transfer to bowl or container.

I've used this flavor combination in my cooking before, only with brown sugar. I've never bottled it for future use though. What's the shelf life on this?chefmal in Bronx loved it
mmmmm.....mmmmm.... I have a coffee grinder just for my spices, and I have all of this on hand(since it doesn't call for Mexican Oregano! ;)...so am gonna be doin' this,soon. Thank you, Sharebear! :)keni in Sweet Home loved it
Wonderful. I made this a few days ago and used it for my Won Tacos recipe! Easy and great, traditional flavor. I did add a lil Mexican Oregano and smoked paprika and used brown sugar for the sugar. I doubled everything but the salt, and it was ple...morekeni in Sweet Home loved it
