Taco Pasta Bake

Got this recipe from the blog, Canadian Moms Cook. I'm posting the original recipe but I halved it and added 1/2 can of Rotel and sauteed some onion with the beef.
Ingredients
- 1/2 - 3/4 of a bag of large noodle pasta like ziti shopping list
- Approximately 1lb of ground beef shopping list
- 1 pkg/envelope of taco seasoning shopping list
- 1 C water shopping list
- 4 oz. cream cheese shopping list
- 1 1/2 C shredded cheese of your choice (I used colby and Jack) shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350
- Boil pasta until just cooked, drain, run cold water over it
- Brown ground beef
- Mix together taco seasoning and 1 C of water, pour over cooked beef and let simmer for about 5 minutes until the liquid has reduced
- Add cream cheese to the beef mixture, stir until melted and combined, Remove from heat
- Put pasta in your casserole dish or pot, mix in 1C of the shredded cheese
- Top pasta and cheese with beef mixture, gently mix until the pasta is coated
- Top with remaining 1/2 C of shredded cheese
- Bake uncovered for approx 30 minutes
